GLASS ROOF
A fixed roof of laminated safety glass. Rain, leaves and noise stay out; the light doesn’t. The only one of the four you can use in February.
Screen roof
A retractable fabric ceiling that runs the full span. Open it fully, close it fully, or stop it halfway. No blades, so no shadow stripes across the table.
Louvers
Motorised aluminium blades rotate from open sky to sealed. Shade at two o’clock, shelter at four. Rain drains through the frame, not down your neck.

The same frame and the same glass, over the driveway instead of the patio. It looks like part of the house, because it’s built like part of the house.
